For app bugs or support requests that do not include private personal information, open a support issue: niga kanji support request.

Support issues are public. Do not include API tokens, payment details, private study notes, or other sensitive information.

Completely free

Version 1.0.3 and later include all 60 levels, kana, vocabulary, drawing, and reviews for free, with no purchases, subscriptions, trials, or ads. New lessons unlock as you learn; normal prerequisites and daily lesson allowances still apply. Update through the App Store to version 1.0.3 or later to get free access.

Earlier subscriptions

Older versions may still show payment controls. The free update does not require a purchase or purchase restoration. If you previously subscribed, manage or cancel that subscription through your Apple Account. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

• For a refund or billing issue, contact Apple through Report a Problem. The app does not receive your payment details.

Progress and backup

Study progress is stored on your device. When iCloud is available, the app can automatically back up and reconcile progress with your private iCloud database. You can also use Back Up Now or Restore in Settings > iCloud Backup. If Settings reports that a backup is pending or not verified, keep the app installed. For a save problem, include the displayed support code in your support request without sharing private study data.
